The Aspirants were released unto the Wild Space that would later come to be known as Dvansfera (trans.: The Twelve Influences). In this space, the first seeds of life were planeted in the name of the light and of them, the Straz themselves were born: celestial beings, the first of all creation, born of raw power molded into balance. This balance, struck between the darkness and the light, created the petal dancers themselves, who walked the realms of reality even after they were shattered, and became heroes of planets, universes, and entire dimensions of existence.
These siblings, known as Bozur Ceiux, Dayla Ceiux, Ruza Ceiux and Nelum Ceiux, were their own wandering pantheon, whose visage was ever changing. As hermaphroditic beings, they were capable of shifting their appearances and forms, presenting as male or female, as human or beast, as god or mortal, as they needed in order to be embraced by the people they were inhabiting with. Between this and their ability to rewrite truth, their histories are lost, passed down in oral traditions more than anything, and known by only the Aspirants.
The original Straz were associated with four steps: first, protegenoi, or first deities of planets; then, a flower of the heavens, the light from their bodies eminating like petals to the naked eye; third, a habit of the gods themselves, considered by man to be direct vessels for the supreme being; and finally, a season of nature, governing over the change of times and eternity. Their powers were vast, split in equal parts between darkness and light, and they were beings of such immense glory as to be able to rewrite reality in a way that worked forwards and backwards: truth was malleable, and their will was nigh-absolute. They could undo anything, except what had been done by an Aspirant or the supreme being directly.
When the Rounik began to run wild, with Su'en first locked away (a thing that has happened more and more often since), the Straz acted. With sacrifice, with willing hearts, they used the full might of their power to do an undoable thing: to try and reverse what an aspirant had done. In trapping the rounik (at least, a majority of them), they were able to lock away the aching will of Su'en directly. This sacrifice forced the Straz to create a small, pocket dimension (i.e.dast aker, trans.: the fields), full of beasts and empires that battled against the rounik in hopes of finding weaknesses, of finding ways to victory. None were, and eventually the pocket dimension itself was lost. In its collapse, dast aker still held the rounik hostage, trapped until Su'en began to awaken and the nature of Su'en's existence began to call for the rounik in full force again.
The Twins, born of a scion (trans.: god) born from Straz will, while mixed with the nature of a Sár and a Jengu are elevated to such a might that they are, in turn, new Straz themselves. The problem is simple: they are genetic throwbacks to not only the Straz, but the Sár, the Jengu, as well as the people who worshipped their father in his original form. They have a lot of learning to do, before they can self-actualize their nature as Straz but when they do, they will be 12-winged beauties who can choose their presentation and form at will, as well as rewrite everything.
While Travers can now restore planets, and possibly even entire planes of existence, he cannot choose what lives get saved in that restoration; no one can choose to bring a life back directly, life must come with the nature of altering reality. But for the Twins this will change. They, unlike anyone else, will be able to restore life itself by choice, reviving even long lost entities as they want to, making them truly divine vessels of power that will go beyond the strength of the original Straz themselves.
As the children of the human manifestation of Isenic, The Heritor of Moonknights, the Scion of the E'tviir people, the Twins are genetic throwbacks not just to the Straz who created Isenic, but to the people whom worshipped at his altars. For Saif, he is a throwback to the Zum'i Viiz (trans. Wildkin) and for Taj, a throwback to the Sen'i Viiz (trans: Wishkin). Their odd genetic makeup allows them to inhabit more than is reasonably possible and if their genetics were examined, they would technically register as 300% totals: 3 separate beings at once, for having been bred of 3 separate dimensions in force and curse and power. This gives them unique powers that uplifts them beyond the original Straz. Their twin connection also allows them to switch abilities, unlike the original Straz; they can even shift what kind of rabbit or cat forms they take on, although Taj tends toward light furs and Saif toward dark ones. Some of these key abilities, which the Twins draw on (at least in part even if not fully at the now) already without knowing, are:
straz eternals small miracles the light the dark transcendence zum'i viiz (kitty) sen'i viiz (bunny) witches
Just as the Straz had their assocations (and vellai), the twins will require an ancient jewel to stabalize their power and help them retain their forms. Through this, they will also find their roles. For Taj, it is: Aion (and Tartarus) of the Protogenoi, The Hibiscus of Heaven, The Mercy of the Gods and The Season of Summer-Autumn while Saif is: Nyx (and Phanes) of the Protegenoi, The Lotus of Heaven, The Dreaming of the Gods and The Season of Winter-Spring. These natures are clear in their gifts they have had since birth and mightier than the original Straz, as the Twins themselves amount to all 4 Straz and more power.
The most important piece of any Straz, even the Twins, is their vellai which is a jewel their human form may wear but in their Straz form is an orbit that circles their person, while also having a reflection of it within their chest — as pictured. This jewel is their boundary, the reason they do not emit raw power endlessly, or have to put forth any effort to exist among humans once they have become Straz; it contains them, focuses them, and helps them to have the ultimate control. From the vellai, all things are possible: it is as much a part of them as their own hands and feet, and so it is as almighty and all-powerful as they are. Some of these more almighty powers include:
